BY PLANE

Travelling by air is the fastest and most convenient way to reach the Brno Circuit, especially for international visitors. Here are the main options:

There are multiple international airports available for your arrival in the Czech Republic. If you're travelling for the MotoGP Brno, you’ll most likely land at either Václav Havel Airport in Prague or Brno Airport. Alternatively, you could consider arriving at Vienna International Airport in Austria, or opt for Bratislava Airport, Katowice International Airport, Krakow John Paul II International Airport, or Copernicus Airport Wroclaw.

Flying to Prague (PRG)

Václav Havel Airport serves as the main gateway to the Czech Republic. Although the airport is located on the outskirts of Prague, it is well-connected to the city centre.

The Airport Express bus line provides a direct route to the Main Train Station in the city centre, taking approximately 30 minutes. This line has its own fare, and tickets can be purchased directly from the driver.

Once you arrive at the Main Train Station, you can continue your journey to Brno by train, either with České dráhy (Czech Railway Company) or RegioJet. The train ride typically takes between two and a half to three hours. Tickets can be purchased online through the websites of České dráhy or RegioJet.

However, the most convenient option might be taking a bus directly from the airport. RegioJet offers comfortable bus services from Prague airport to Brno city centre. You can book your ticket online on their official website. Select a route from Prague - Václav Havel Airport Prague to Brno - AN u Hotel Grand.

The reservation code you receive will act as your ticket. After landing in Prague, head to Terminal 1, where the car park and bus stops are located, and find the stop for the Karlovy Vary – Praha route. Look out for a bright yellow RegioJet bus. You will need to transfer buses to the Prague Florenc bus station (Prague, ÚAN Florenc). From there, you can enjoy amenities like hot drinks, newspapers, and movies during your trip to Brno.

Flying to Brno (BRQ)

There are also direct flights to Brno Airport from certain destinations. The airport is located in the Tuřany district of the city. To reach the city centre, you can either take a taxi or use public transportation. There are two bus options: bus E76, which runs every 30 minutes, and the N89 night bus. Both buses will bring you to the Main Train Station stop (Hlavní nádraží), close to the city centre.

To check bus schedules, click here and enter 'Letiště Tuřany - terminál' in the 'From' field, and 'Hlavní nádraží' in the 'To' field. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Remember to purchase a ticket at the airport!

Flying to Vienna (VIE)

Travelling from Vienna Airport to Brno by train is another convenient option. The airport has its own railway station located just outside the arrivals hall, making it easy to start your journey right after landing. You can check the train schedules and purchase tickets online through this link. Enter 'Flughafen Wien' in the 'From' field and 'Brno hl. n.' in the 'To' field to find the most suitable connections.

Typically, you'll need to change trains at Wien Hauptbahnhof, Vienna's main train station, and in some cases, you may also need to transfer in Břeclav, a town near the Czech border. The entire journey is well-connected and allows you to travel comfortably from Vienna to Brno while enjoying the scenic route along the way.

Flying to Bratislava (BTS)

The connection between Bratislava and Brno is both convenient and quick, with the journey taking less than two hours.
