Tickets for MotoGP Brno 2025 coming soon

BY CAR/MOTORCYCLE

Travelling to Brno by car or motorcycle is relatively straightforward (despite the traffic may be an issue), with major highways connecting the city to nearby capitals.

From Prague, take the D1 highway southeast directly to Brno, covering approximately 200 kilometres. If you're coming from Bratislava, use the D2 highway northbound for about 130 kilometres. From Vienna (Vídeň), take the A5 highway in Austria, which transitions into the D52 in the Czech Republic, leading you to Brno after roughly 140 kilometres. All routes are well-signposted but be prepared for possible congestion, especially near larger cities and during peak travel times.

From Prague

Route: Take the D1 highway southeast towards Brno. As you approach the circuit, take exit 178 for Ostrovačice or exit 182 for Kývalka, then follow the signposts for Autodrom, Grand Prix, or Paddock.
Distance: Approximately 200 kilometres (124 miles).
Estimated Travel Time: Around 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on traffic.
Key tips: The D1 can be prone to traffic jams, especially near Prague and around construction zones. Plan for potential delays, particularly on race weekends.

From Bratislava

Route: Head north on the D2 highway towards Brno. As you get closer to the circuit, take exit 182 for Kývalka, then follow the signposts for Autodrom, Grand Prix, or Paddock.
Distance: Approximately 130 kilometres (81 miles).
Estimated Travel Time: Around 1.5 hours.
Key tips: The route is direct with good road conditions, but be cautious of speed traps near the border. Expect heavier traffic closer to the circuit during events.

From Vienna

Route: Take the A5 highway north towards the Czech border, and continue on the D52 highway towards Brno. Near the circuit, take exit 182 for Kývalka, then follow the signposts for Autodrom, Grand Prix, or Paddock.
Distance: Approximately 140 kilometres (87 miles).
Estimated Travel Time: Around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Key tips: Border crossings are usually quick, but have your documents ready. The roads are well-maintained, but traffic can increase significantly near the circuit during MotoGP events.
