Travelling from Prague

There are multiple bus companies offering services from Prague to Brno. Companies like RegioJet, and Flixbus, among others, operate buses from the Florenc bus station in Prague. RegioJet also provides direct services from Prague’s Václav Havel Airport.

RegioJet and Flixbus buses typically drop passengers off at the Grand Hotel bus station in Brno, which is conveniently located in the city centre. Other bus companies usually stop at the Zvonařka bus station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the city centre.

Travelling from Vienna

RegioJet and Flixbus offer direct bus routes from Vienna’s Schwechat Airport, with both services arriving at the Grand Hotel bus station in Brno. LEO Express also operates from the airport, but it stops at the Zvonařka bus station in Brno.

Additionally, there are buses departing from various stations in Vienna, such as the bus station at Wien, Hbf Wiedner Gürtel. If you’re departing from Vienna, you can ask for directions at the airport to find the nearest bus station.

From Brno Centre

Regular Bus Line 402
This bus departs from the Nemocnice Bohunice station. To get there from Brno Main Station, take tram number 8 heading towards Nemocnice Bohunice and transfer to bus number 402 at the final stop. You can view the timetable for bus line 402 here.

Special Bus Line 400
This line operates only during major racing events, departing from Mendlovo Square in Brno. To reach Mendlovo Square from Brno Main Station, take tram number 1 in the direction of Bystrc.
