Maverick Viñales will not take part in the upcoming Czech Grand Prix after suffering a shoulder injury during qualifying at the German GP. The Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider crashed in Q2, dislocated his left shoulder, and later underwent surgery in Italy. With the summer break ahead, Viñales now focuses on recovery and hopes to return stronger for the second half of the MotoGP season.

After a long recovery from serious injuries sustained in Qatar, MotoGP World Champion Jorge Martin is finally set to return to racing. Aprilia Racing confirmed his comeback after a smooth and promising test at the Misano circuit. If he passes his final medical check on July 17, Martin will officially be back on the grid at the Czech Grand Prix in Brno.
